Lighting is a crucial detail to design, as it truly has the power to set the mood of an entire space. We’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with Smart House Integration lately on a condo renovation project we have underway, and had the chance to check out their show rooms with our clients recently (ironically, in the same historic building Todd once used as an office space! Notice those preserved walls in the background!)
Home automation has come so far, with systems like Lutron and Ketra, your entire home can be programmed to start and end the day with you. With lights gradually turning on in warm tones in the morning, peaking at full brightness and cool tones in the afternoon, and resorting back to “sleep” with low lighting fixtures and sunset tones in the evening. There is even opportunity for party-hosting modes, with endless color spectrums of recessed and hidden LEDs throughout your space. The opportunities truly are endless, and fully customizable.
